Exhibit #107: Heat Wave!

Champagne Sour $8
Champagne with a sugar cube saturated in lemon juice, up. By George Kappeler, late 19th century.

Orgeat Punch $12
An individual punch featuring a double pour of cognac, orgeat syrup, lemon juice, and crushed ice. May be divided into two servings. From Jerry Thomas, mid 19th century.

Pago Pago $8
Gold Puerto Rican rum, lime juice, muddled pineapple, green Chartreuse, crème de cacao, up. This one hails from 1940s Hawaii.

Russell House Cocktail $7
Rye whiskey dashed with orange bitters, blackberry liqueur, and simple syrup, up. England, 1920s.

Union League Cocktail $7
2 parts Old Tom gin to 1 part port wine, dashed with orange bitters, up. From the Old Waldorf, late 19th century.

West India Couperee $11
Cognac, Grand Marnier, and ice cream, up, dusted with freshly grated nutmeg. It wasn’t just William Schmidt who was fond of ice cream in his booze, this one hails from the granddaddy, Jerry Thomas.
